Experience
I have an M.F.A. in creative wrting, and I'm in my tenth year of teaching english composition at the college level. I am currently a full-time faculty member at a local community college in Boston. I can help you with every step of the writing process from brainstorming, writing first drafts, to editing and revising final drafts for all areas of study ranging from papers for history class to school application essays. I enjoy helping people one-on-one, and I hope to help people understand writing a little more, and maybe even grow to like it.

Hobbies
For the past three years, I have been working as a full-time English professor. Prior to that, I worked for three years full-time in a Writing Center as a professional tutor and supervisor for other tutors. I have also tutored for students athletes for Florida State University, and I have also worked for Smarthinking.com. Thus, my experience lends itself to helping students understand writing. I write fiction, and I have published numerous short stories. Currently, I am working on a nonfiction narrative. I participate in public readings and writing conferences. I have many years of experience teaching and tutoring writing. I have two kids of my own, so I happy to work with younger students as well.
