I am a certified general/ special education teacher for grades 1-6. I graduated from Marist College in New York in 2012. After graduating, I pursued a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and finished the program in 2013. I am also certified to teach English Language Learners. I am currently a 4th grade teacher with two years of teaching experience.
Experience
I am a 4th grade teacher in Northern Massachusetts. I have a lot of experience tutoring a wide range of students from kindergarten through the college level. I have worked in elementary schools throughout college and during my career as a teacher. I specialize in mathematics but am also experienced in tutoring reading. I would like to tutor because I have a love of learning and hope to pass that on to each of the students that I have the opportunity to work with. I have seen, first-hand, the benefits of teaching students independently or in a small group because they are able to get the specialized instruction that they need in order to be successful. Tutoring allows me to tailor my lessons to meet each students' needs.
